Although fear is a natural and healthy feeling we can often find ourselves prisoner to it’s grips. In times like theses, I urge you to summon courage.
Courage is the presence of affirmative action although you may be afraid. It’s not the absence of fear, but the presence of faith greater than fear.
Courage is a comforter, a commander and an overcomer . Courage will tell you, you can when doubts and fears tell you, you can’t. Courage is an optimist, it always believes in you and will never let you down. Be courageous.
Be courageous. For little of any consequence happens without it.
I don’t know what you may be facing right now, what challenges you have to overcome or what obstacles may be obstructing your way, or what voices may be telling you you can’t. But what I do know is that if you are to overcome them you must summon courage!
Allow courage to lift and strengthen you, allow it to empower and encourage. For courage, I have learned is often not merely about fighting, sometimes it’s about simply standing.
Today, I choose to be courageous. I choose to stand up to fear. I choose to allow courage to be the driver my decisions not fear.
1. What have you learned about your fears?
2. What do you need courage for today?
3. Why and how should you act when threatened by fear?
